Biography

Lara is a Psychosexologist and Relationship Therapist, with over 15 years of clinical experience, with a unique background in Functional Medicine, allowing her to treat from a multidisciplinary perspective that considers the biological, psychological, and sexual aspects that shape the experience of her clients.

Lara treats a wide range of issues, such as desire discrepancy, painful sex, performance anxiety, gender identity and orientation, arousal and orgasm challengers, compulsive sexual behaviour, and erectile difficulties.

She is committed to working with individuals, couples, and diverse relationship structures, guiding them through aspects such as communication, intimacy, pleasure, and addressing sexual challenges.

Utilising a Psychosexual educational framework, Lara's therapeutic approach is evidence based, using interventions such as Compassion based CBT, mindfulness, Sensate Focus techniues, and The Gottman Method of relational psychology. Her approach, is non-touch therapy, characterised by inclusivity and commmitment to empower individuals and partners to navigate their unique journey towards healthy sexual and relational well-being.

Fees

Individual:

Initial                   $260.00              (60mins)

Follow Up            $220.00             (60mins)

 

Couples:

Initial                    $330.00              (90mins)

Follow Up           $250.00              (45 - 60mins)

Couples appointments: Ms Lara Maree will generally see the couple together for the initial consultation for 90 minutes, then individually for 45-60 minutes each at the next follow ups, then back together ongoing for couples for 60 minutes. This may also be tailored by Ms Maree after your initial or individual follow up consultations.
