Biography

Veronica is a Geriatrician dedicated to providing comprehensive care to older individuals. She is a Staff Specialist Geriatrician at Concord Repatriation General and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals. She received her Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle and Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of Sydney. She completed her specialist Geriatric training at St Vincent's, Concord and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals.

She holds a Conjoint Associate Lecturer position with the University of New South Wales. She has been heavily involved with supervising physician trainees as an RACP Local Examination Organiser and is committed to quality teaching.

Veronica excels in all aspects of Geriatric Medicine with particular interests in dementia syndromes, behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders. She also has interests in orthogeriatric and perioperative medicine.

Fees

With a valid referral, you will receive a Medicare rebate. A valid referral has to be current and come from a general practitioner or another specialist.

Initial:                                             $730.00  Medicare Rebate: $429.85

Follow-up Consult:                      $520.00  Medicare Rebate: $268.75

Cancellation Policy - There is a strict cancellation policy in place for appointments with Dr Tung. Cancellation or appointment changes require a minimum notice of 24 hours, and failure to do so will result in a fee ranging from 50% to 100% of the consultation cost. This is not covered by Medicare.
